Join us for our 1st Annual Father’s Day Jam in Sarasota celebrating fathers and daughters, creating a weekend with community-building events, fun 1on1, 3on3, free throw contests, half-court shots, and lowkey basketball games with athletes who enjoy the game with low hype.

Friday night, opening ceremonies are at Siesta Key with sunset beach welcome. Bring your team to the yellow lifeguard stand for contests in the sand, beach games, and dads v. daughter’s beach free throw contest.

Saturday, high school teams will play at the YMCA on Euclid Ave from 9am - 8pm and MS will play from 5pm - 9pm at the YMCA at Palmer Ranch. Saturday night at 6pm at Palmer Ranch, Dads will play daughters. At 7pm, sons will play moms. At 8pm, free throw contest and half-court shot for a huge prize. At 9pm, we will host our first Elite MVP game for most assists in the tournament. At 9:30pm at Potter Park, we will have an outdoor movie night in the parking lot, ticket sales will benefit the YMCA’s Capitol Campaign - all sales will go directly to the Y.

Saturday, 3on3 basketball will be happening between games, so register your team now for bragging rights at Dad’s BBQ, happening Sunday, June 21 at 4141 S. Tamiami Trail for the Block Party to Honor Dads. Two Chefs, Kensho, the Wellness Realm, and store owners at the old Chili’s plaza next to Trader Joe’s will welcome you for brunch at 11:30am - 1:pm, then breathwork sessions at Kensho, wellness talks at Wellness Realm, and carnival games for the kids.
